Take the guesswork out of getting dressed with some jumpsuit styling tips from Becky Hillyard of Cella Jane Blog!
Jumpsuits are a staple in my spring and summer wardrobe because they are so easy, so of course, I have to share one of my favorites this season along with how I’m styling it. It’s probably no surprise that the one I’m majorly crushing on is the Yes Way Chambray. The raw edge ruffle and button details give it that more-expensive-than-it-is look. This is what I love about BB Dakota, because it’s super affordable and I’ve honestly been wearing it for years (even before blogging). If you love the jumpsuit as much as me, though, and want a few tips on styling it, here’s how I plan to wear it this spring and summer…
Denim on denim
I love a good denim on denim look and this jumpsuit is the perfect opportunity to rock it. I went for a light wash jean jacket, a must-have in the spring, in my opinion, cute sandals and a clear tote. The clear tote kind of steps it up a notch, but the jumpsuit is definitely still the star of the show. You can wear this to brunch, errands on the weekend or even an afternoon date.
Casual with sneakers
This option might work better a little closer to summer when you don’t need to layer with a jacket, which would let the ruffles of the jumpsuit have their moment to shine. Then I’d add some sneakers to make the outfit very “casual cute” and great for walks through the farmer’s market or running around with the kids. I'm loving this sneaker at the moment. A top knot and hoop earrings would finish this look off perfectly. Easy!
