BB Dakota is proud to partner with Working Wardrobes, a non-profit organization founded with the mission of helping men, women, young adults, and veterans achieve the dignity of work and the Power of a Paycheck.
Jerri Rosen, CEO & Founder
Since 1990 Working Wardrobes has served over 105,000 clients who have overcome difficult challenges on their journey to meaningful employment, including substance abuse, domestic violence, incarceration, homelessness, and military to civilian transition.
Interview and office-appropriate clothing donations from brands (like us) and individuals (like you) are crucial to Working Wardrobes' mission. Just the experience of trying on a new suit can feel empowering for those struggling to join or re-join the workforce. But WW's services don't stop there. In addition to outfitting clients for work, WW provides an array of job training and career development programs through their Career Success Institute.
Program Director Ashley Vlcan has been with the organization for eight years, working to expand the company's outreach and constantly evolve their services.
"Working Wardrobes is a one-of-a-kind organization. The energy and magic that individuals feel when they walk through the front door is unlike any place I’ve ever been to. This is true for staff, volunteers, donors and visitors. There is something truly special about the work we do, the people who work and volunteer here and the clients we serve. It’s the best job I’ve ever had and it’s an honor to be here every day."
